Act Labs RS and TM Formula/Nascar Pro pedals, is it possible?

by Christer Andersso » Sun, 18 Apr 1999 04:00:00

If anybody knows, please tell me. Is it possible to connect the Act Labs RS
wheel with the Thrustmaster Nascar/Formula Pro pedals? I have found an Act Labs
RS wheel at the local shop and the wheel felt really great. I have developed an
inflammation in my right shoulder making it very hard to stick shift, so I'm
considering using buttons instead and the buttons on Act Labs RS wheel are
placed just right. I'm an avid GPL driver and stick shifting would be more
realistic, but I'm not sacrificing my shoulder :o).

I use an ACT RS with my old T2 pedals.  I built a splitter and plug the ACT into
one and the pedals into the other.  I have to select "Thrustmaster Formula T1/T2
without adapter" in Control Panel rather than using the ACT driver, but other than
that it works fabulous.  I also switched from using the paddles to using the
buttons on the wheel, and IMHO it's a far superior way to shift.  I now use the
paddles for look left/right.  If you'd like the diagram for the splitter mail me.
LOL.
