RBR problem with ACT LABS Force RS perf pedals

by Txl » Sun, 12 Sep 2004 05:30:23

Hello

I have installed the game and it runs fine, however as soon as I touch the
throttle it goes to roughly half throttle and doesn't come back to "idle"
when i release it, i have to push it fully and then it goes back down to 0.

I have check in the windows control panel (Xp SP2) and everything seems to
be OK, is there a special trick or config file to edit, also why in the
game do they have the "accelerate and brake" command , they should have a
"split axis" box to tick or not and it'd be done like that...a bit strange.

Thanks for the help

RBR problem with ACT LABS Force RS perf pedals

With my Act-Labs setup (Performance pedals plugged into the back of the
wheel), the problem seems to be caused by the clutch pedal giving inverted
readings (ie. the computer sees 100% clutch when I'm not pressing on it).
Here is how I got around the problem under RBR:

1) Enter the controller config menu
2) Keep foot on the clutch pedal, don't let go
3) Set up the other axis and buttons in the controller config screen, with
clutch still in.  Don't assign the clutch pedal to any command.
4) Make sure auto-clutch is enabled in the game
