I have an Ensoniq Soundscape card.  If I run NASCAR in dos mode and try
to use headphones, I cannot set the volume.  I've tried the SSMIXER
utility - I can set EVERYTHING to 0 and it still blasts me out of the
chair.  Adjusting volume levels within NASCAR doesn't help either.

Anyone have suggestions?  Thanks in advance.
