If you have a cable modem make sure you add this line to your core.ini
file in the gpl folder and that it is called core.ini not core.ini.sample
[ Communications ]
alternate_ip_addr_lookup = 1 ; Find IP addresses another way
This will enable GPL to grab your Ip address from your NIC card and not
from DUN as it tries to by default.
I just created a new core.ini in notepad and added the above line.
Later on when I understand what the other core.ini settings in the
core.ini.sample file do I will add the ones I want to use.
When you save the file you create in notepad make sure you dont save it
as a txt file select Save As then select all file types then call it
core.ini and save it to the gpl folder.
