I have improved my racing (and even driving) tremendously recently
mainly by thinking better. I need to get even better. Much better. I
didn't think of this as a weakness before it was pointed out to me but
it obviously is.
I noticed that your train-of-though didn't include a single negative
thought - that's what is so important. Always think about something
"good" you're going to do. Brake right, turn right, catch the ***, etc.
During the Zandy GP I started having negative thoughts at the time when
Jan was 25 secs with 20 laps to go. "Brake early, or you will spin."
"Careful here or you won't be able to make the turn." Whammo! 20 secs
down the drain when I spun!
