It does model "damage" to a certain extent, but don't expect a lot
of realism. But at least you get somewhat penalized for crashing into things,
unlike NFS3. You can still hit cars head-on at 100mph and you just stop dead,
no flips or cars torn in half... The damage effects are mostly skin changes,
but your fenders will crumple a little, your headlights will get broken and
not shine, etc. It's no Viper Racing for damage, but it's FUN.
The illusion of speed is very good, especially when you're flying down a
mountain and your rear end is sliding around curves. Has nice lighting
effects, especially when cops are chasing you at night. If you want an "Oh
wow" arcade racing game, this is it.

I agree, it's a fun Arcade game, it is also a good game to show off your
computer to a person that doesn't have a computer.
