N2 Sound problems in Win95/98

by Chad Brow » Fri, 28 Aug 1998 04:00:00

Anybody have any suggestions on how to get my sound working in N2 after
installing win98?  When I go to the sound setup, if I choose auto detect it
kicks me back to windows.  If I choose my sound card or any sound card, and
check the settings, it just locks.  My system is:
P200 MMX
32mb Ram
Genius Sound Maker 18PnP (Ess AudioDriver)
win98
Thats the jist of it.  I love the game but it just aint right without the
sound.  Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Chaddmann

Chad:

Im not a computer whiz--but try this:

SoundBlaster Mono  220  5   1

DO NOT HIT the test sound button.

Exit setup and give it a start.
