Hi everyone,
I am new to this so please forgive my ignorance. I have an STB Velocity 128
video card which flickers when I try to run CPR in hardware accelerated mode.
I was wondering if anyone has had the same problem and if they could suggest a
solution. Also wondering if I can run F1rs with this video card or if 3dfx and
directX are completely different.

I had the same problem with my STB 128 card until downloading the newest drivers.
Others have reported the latest ver 90 CPR patch helps. F1RS will run with the STB
card in D3D mode but not the 3dfx mode. 3dfx cards use the glide drivers and STB
card uses the D3D drivers. Also upgrade to the latest 1.07 F1RS patch. If you
don't have them, the F1RS and STB drivers are available at http://gamepad.org/
Just scroll through the news section and you'll find them.
