Hello again..is there a way to turn down the aggression of the ai cars in
gpl? In other words not slow them down but get them to act a bit more
civilized and race with you. Not take every advantage to bump or cut you
off?

Yes, there is a program called AITweak to tune the AI. But hang on,
because very soon a new AI modifier will be released called GPLAIM.
More info here, and there's even a video overview on his site

Thanks Andre...I have used kari's program that was released when GPL first
came out. I look forward to this new program. I would just like to have
better offline races.

Me too, and according to some beta testers GPLAIM is the program we're
all waiting for :)
PS: are you running with the default AI? Because I don't find them
overly agressive. But there are some general AI updates around, which
makes the AI drive less in a row (good thing) but makes them overly
agressive (BAD thing).

I look forward to GPLAIM then. Where are some of these updates located? I
had gotten to the point where I ran strictly online but of late been doing
the offline thing (quite a bit)  :o)

BTW I am running the default however I keep ruining good races by getting
tangled up with the Ai.  I wanted to experiment.
