All of our chatter regarding whether build 90 is the last patch you plan to
release for CART:PR or the first in a series designed to make CART:PR the
best in its class is getting tiring.  It may be much ado about nothing, but
obviously there are multiple interpretations (and *** theories) of
your past communications.  Please confirm your plans....one sentence is all
that we need.

Thanks!

We will also be complaining if they don't say anything at all in this
case...

Microsoft is probably pretty busy fending of investigations in
anti-trust suits here and in Japan.  I think they should be investigated
and criminally prosecuted for releasing CPR !!!  Shame on you Microsoft.
From a company that gives such great packages such as office.  CPR is a
piece of crap.  I think you should s***the version 1 and go directly
to the sequel and get it right and then offer everyone who has version 1
an upgrade discount for purchasing this disgusting attempt at a sim.

Not to mention their contract workers' class-action suit, which they're
losing already (see ZDNet for details).

I doubt, however, that John Browne is directly involved in those
miseries, and I assume we can hold him to his word that he wants
feedback. I suggest that anyone with questions about the finality -- or
otherwise -- of the latest CPR patch would be better served emailing
their concerns directly to John Browne, rather than posting them here,
in the faint -- and growing more faint every day -- hope that anyone
fron the MS CART "Team" is actually looking at this NG.

Do you really think Office is that great?  They don't release another
version every year just to change the year number of the product.  They
release them to fix bugs and other problems.  That'll be another $200
for the upgrade (fix) - thank you says Micro$oft.

Yes... I do think Office is great.  I didnt say it was perfect... but I
wouldnt want to have to do my job without it!!  I love the ease in which
I can import/export data and info between Excel, Word, Publisher, etc.

I think its a great product and well worth the money.  With all that I
do with it... I havent found any bugs or problems that effect me.

Seconded. Office 97 is an absolute godsend for my job, and market
analysis and "what-if" scenarios which used to take days can now be
done in seconds.

That's one reason I have hope for CPR - prior to V4.0 Excel was
nothing special, but with V4 they caught up and since then have been
out of sight of the competition in features and ease of use. How about
V7.0 of CPR? :)

Cheers!

Nah, you've got it all wrong. They release another version every year so
as to be able to introduce yet more bugs ;-)

But it's still great <g>

That's about right. CPR (20)03 will be good if the sort out the problem in
Direct X 13 that causes full duplex sound to be played instead to road textures
displayed
