You can ftp them off the Ubisoft site...just drill down a few
directories.

MGPR2 patch 1.06 ?

ftp.ubisoft.com

But...I tried the original version and that one had low volume too.
Patched to 1.05, and that was also low volume. Went back to 1.06.

The SBLive 2.1 drivers don't help here.

MGPR2 patch 1.06 ?

This is copied from the forum at the Unofficial MGPRS2 site, having to do
with the volume problems using the SB live with MGPRS2:
http://www.mgprs2.com/forum.htm

"Open the snd_cpa.ini in the dir ...\mgprs2\cpa\dll\

and then adjust:

[DLL_Sxd]
Unconditionnal=None
File0=WAVd3

Default=WAVX2

into

[DLL_Sxd]
Unconditionnal=WAVPW
File0=WAVd3

Default=WAVPW

This should do the trick"

This does work, however it disables the 3D sound effects. What I do is, in
the opening menu, hit alt+enter and return to the windows desktop. Double
click on the speaker icon on the taskbar and bring up the play control
window where you can raise the Wave volume. For some reason starting up
MGPRS2, when using the SB Live, causes the Wave volume to drop to 50%.

MGPR2 patch 1.06 ?

In my case the wave volume stays at 50% in the rest of my games. caused a huge
mess, had to re-load drivers.

Does anyone know if all the patches will cause the sound problem and is the
game very buggy without the patches?

Thanks! This works slick.
