Need For Speed network play

I try to play on a local network but for some reason the game hosted on one
computer is not seen on the other. Any Ideas how to setup a local two player
game on a local network ??

All other games work perfect, so I don't understand whats wrong as there is
also nothing written in the manual about networked play.
