That way our LPI rating will represent only how we have performed in RASCAR.
Might make people be a little more careful, and add a bit to the
competition.

Nobody liked that idea when I tried to implement it a few weeks

PS - Goy, your Aussie V8's are (almost) here. ;-)
Ditto...

Make it a rule John! :-)

I was one of the guys that objected to this Dave...
Why?
First of all I'd like to be able to use one ID for all my "league-racing" so
I can keep trac on my overall performmace and such..
Secondly, remember that the driver Id is the one that gets displayed on all
result pages and more importantly all chat, chatlogs and "blackboxes"
(raceinfo) - I find it hard enough to tell drivers apart on those
lists/boards, and with limited space - having a race-list full of RAS-ditt
and RAS-datt will only make things harder - imo..

Hey Jan, your car is done.

I saw the shot on the roster page... looks great John. Thanks.

The RAS part can be left off.
What I'm suggesting is an ID that easily indentifies you by including some
part of your real name and is used only for RASCAR.
ESolheim, EdSolheim, E_Solheim, Ed_Solheim, SolheimEd
I'm going to only use DaveGF in RASCAR now that the LPI and ratings have
been reset with N2003. Last year I used it in every online race I ran with
N2002. Anywhere else I run I'll use DavidGF.
Easy enough.

Great as this was one of my biggest objections..
Fair enough..
I guess so.. but it will be hard to "police" though... besides it still
prevent people from getting "the full picture" of their preformance...
(nit-picking - I know :-)
I can live with Daves solution though.

I agree it doesn't give the full picture at all. I just thought it would add
a little something. Also, many people seem to check their incidents and
mention their LPI movement after a race.
I don't think we'd all be checking each other's LPI or criticizing anyone
(better not), I just think it would be good to know for ourselves.

Well now that Papyrus has a more accurate grip level, would it be
possible for a really really really talented code-weasel to hack the gpl
physics with a similar level of grip? (obviously not the same as the fat
Goodyear slicks..but if the N2k3 tire has x% more grip than N4/N2k2, then
could we not up the percentage for gpl?)
