version. Just wondering how it compares to Grand Prix Legends......
Thanks much, Nanakofi..........
Thanks much, Nanakofi..........
Comparing the retro mode in MonacoGP with Grand Prix Legends is like
comparing the Battlestar Gallatica to Star Wars.
(It's very crappy, 1 track, no setup, fake handling, typical Ubisoft).

Well, it's like comparing one option to another.. it's still an option,
whatever serious or not it is... Comparing Space in Viper to ShiftR in GPL
;)
But as you wish (and I agree) : "The retro mode was just a fun addition to
the sim".

True but what none of you have said is that just because it was only made
for a bit of fun and that the game was really made for '97 era, It is allot
of fun to play, but if you want 1950's cars and you think your getting a
bargain by getting 97/98 cars too then your wrong, your better off going for
GPL and its 1960's cars but purely for the reason that there are 11 tracks
and a good lot of teams, that is what the 1950's mode in MGPRS lack, a full
season, but other than that its great I think, The physics are somewhat
close the GPL but then 50's cars and 60's cars are a generation apart, Its
just like comparing the physics of the 97 cars in MGPRS2 to GPL it can't be
done.
