Monaco Grand Prix- Ubisoft, are you there?

Hi Ubisoft,

I have been reading quite a large volume of negative reaction to the MGP
demo.  Now, as this is a demo, most of us who treat demos as early previews
are willing to hold off and reserve judgement until the final product
arrives.  In the meantime, would you be so kind as to post a list of the
features that are new or improved over F1RS?  Specifically of course,
physics and AI and weather modelling are the most important areas that I am
interested in.  Thanks.

Cheers,
Mike.

Head over to the Monaco web site to see a list of some of the new features.

Good question - and maybe if they read here then they'll take
note of the feedback and make some improvements!
I have just one suggestion: give the engine/drive train/wheels some
rotational inertia!!!! F1RS has none, and neither does the MGP
demo. This is why the wheelspin is instantaneous when it does break
loose, and why you can't drop into 1st gear from neutral while revving
the hell out of the car and break instantly into huge wheelspin (the
RPM instead just drops to zero).
This one improvement would do wonders to the feel of the edge of
the traction while trying to apply power and control it.

over and out,
Grant.

I agree - the physics model is fundamentally broken until this is fixed.
