Memory for textures in PCI mode - does it matter with AGP cards?

It seems that most people say to leave zero mb of Memory for textures
in PCI mode if you have an AGP card.  But if I have an AGP card, does
it even matter how much memory I allocate to textures in PCI mode?  In
other words, wouldn't the AGP aberture size be the variable that would
change memory allocation with respect to textures?  Maybe I'm talking
about two different things, but I don't see how the PCI allocation
would even matter.

Pretty much your video card will never even use that setting, 99.9% of
the time all textures are held in local video memory and so this is
never an issue. Same for AGP aperature (although it occasionally has
an influence despite AGP transfers not being used, quite mysterious).
So don't bother with it.
