ICR2/CART: Want to use mouse

by K.. » Sat, 02 Oct 1999 04:00:00

Hello:

I just picked up CART Racing in the bargain bin and I am enjoying it but
I want to use the mouse for steering (yes I know a wheel would be soooo
much better but it'll be awhile before I can buy/build one).  I'm
running in DOS mode cause my P150 laptop doesn't give good frame rates
in the W95 version without shutting off alot of details in svga mode.
I've tried several PS/2 DOS mouse drivers but I can only steer left (and
mouse X is automatically selected when setting the other controls;
turning off the mouse will let me use the keys again).

I know there was a patch for ICR2 to fix the mouse being automatically
selected for the controls, but from what I read the CART version should
already contain that patch.

Please post any fixes.
Thanks
Ken

I went to the trouble to send you all the files on a floppy Sierra sent me
to fix this, then I realized you posted with a fake address!  Figures.
