Intergraph 3D and Win95

Hi,

I've finally got everything working on my P200.
However, once I replaced my video card with the Intergraph 3D I noticed
the machine does not boot correctly most of the time.  I have to keep on
depressing the reset button till it reboots.  I also noticed the
Intergraph 3D card "clicks" the NEC MultiSync XP17 about 3 or 4 times
till it shows the booting sequence.  My previous card only "clicked" the
monitor once.

Anyone else have this problem?

Do I need new drivers or need to flash the bios?

Regards,
john

The new BIOS flash might help some.  But I would check and make sure
that you have not "cached" or "shadowed" the video BIOS in your CMOS
BIOS for your motherboard.  This might help with boot-up problems.  Also
you may want to try putting the card in a different PCI slot.

The new BIOS made all the difference in the world and the new drivers
for WIN95 helped alot also.

I do however shadow the video BIOS in my CMOS and it works great.
Should I "unshadow" the video BIOS from CMOS?

I haven't run across any problems if I leave the video BIOS shadowed.
However, I think Intergraph says it should not be.  But, I tend to think
that this is the "cautious" approach.  Until I start experiencing
problems, I think I'll leave mine cached & shadowed.
