No. The Intense is a 'Rush' based card, and hence slower than the
standard voodoo. It's 2D isn't the best either. For the best 2D (in
DOS) get a Et6000 based card. For good 2D in dos and very good 2D in
windows get a mystique or even better, a millenium II. You _may_ be
better getting a Canopus Pure 3D than the monster too. It all depends
how much wonga you have.

If you already have a good 2D card, then buy a Monster (or equivalent)
If you have a dud 2D card, buy the Intergraph. It's 30%slower than the
Monster when using both alpa and Z buffering, but thats only a problem
with games like Quake. Moto racer runs just as well with Rush as with
the standard Voodoo graphics. And future games will support both Rush
and Voodoo Graphics chipsets.
Any Rush card wipes a Mystique, and the Millenium 2 is really for
serious CAD users, not gamers.
