I have downloaded the patch from Sierra and when I try to install it I get
an error message saying that I have an invalid previous version, my version
is 1.0.0.0

I have even tried to check for an update using the auto update from the
sierra menu, that tells my there is no upgrade available.

Any Ideas??????????

I assume you did download the right version of the GPL patch. If you
downloaded any enhancement for GPL, then you need to copy the
original GPL.EXE from your CD, before you "patch" GPL.
