Is the above title vintage based as is GPL or is it modern day. If it is
modern day, whats the difference between it and F1RS?

Thank you,
J.C.

Modern day, though with fictitious teams.  Check www.mgprs2.com for all you
need to update it to real teams/drivers/years.  There is also an included
half-hearted effort at 50's vintage racing.

See a similar thread.  Basically, a mild update.

Hi John,
MGPRS2 is a modern day Formula one sim and having this version will
allow you to race online if you go to www.ubisoft.com and download the
appropriate files.

No way is it a mild update! The AI is totally different, the car setups are
totally different, you can get higher graphical resolutions, and it is MUCH
more difficult than F1RS! You try to get pole in MGPRS2!
