MGPRS2 - Questions

Hi everyone,
I noticed that MGPRS2 will be in USA/Canada at EB in a few days.
Does anyone know how this version is different from the European/Quebec
versions of the game?  I read on ubi-soft's site that the game will
include a car/track editor.  Did the European/Quebec version include an
actual track editor where you could create/edit your own tracks? or was
it just a track graphics editor? (this is, from my understanding what it
was).  I might check this game/sim out, I'll see how much it costs first!
:) There are some ideas I like, like variable weather, etc. that effect
race strategy, unlike the absence of rain in the other F1 sims I have.

Thanks,
John

I have the European version, and the track editor is to edit the textures,
not the actual layout. :-(

It's been available in Canada for months.  Even my local Costco has it
(packaged with a Ubi motorcycle title) for $35!!!

You can edit the game sounds, car paint schemes, interior***pit, edit
the car's value. The only difference between the "new" version and the
Quebec version is that mine is in french (of course, I had the option of
installing the game in german, dutch, french or spanish (I think) but
not in english).

The thing I like about this game (maybe the only thing I like) is the
tires. They are full 3d models (i.e. donut shape, middle part is
"empty"). Other sims I saw, the tires were flat on the side, like a
hockey puck (no hole in the middle). A nice effect in MGPRS2 is when a
tire gets flat or damaged, you may end up only having the rim on that
corner. It's the first time I saw that and would like other game to do
the same thing.
