I've got an NVIDIA TNT 2 and while playing GPL the screen freezes for a
second. It happens a few times a lap.I've got the open GL patch. What can I
do? Also I'm losing my calibration in my Logitech wheel? Help please?

Thanks

When GPL freezes, does you harddrive all of a sudden start acting up for a
second?  If so, defrag your harddrive and DO NOT let windows manage your
virtual memory.  Try setting it to about double your physical RAM.

Someday,  SOMEBODY is gonna write....
"My 3dfx V3 3000 works just perfectly for GPL."  I wish I had a dollar
for
Every TNT2/GPL post I've read.

Nothing personal KC, I'm sure some tnt guys will point you in the
right direction.  Sounds like you have a non functioning network card
and Win9x is stopping every so often to see if the card has been plugged
back in.

I had this too when I first got GPL. I sorted it out by killing a few
files before starting the game. CTRL-ALT-DEL psconv for a start (I'm
pretty sure that was the problem with me) and just for good measure I do
avconv, reminder, powersave, fastfind, wkcalc (or something similar) and
realplay. Runs stutter free now.
