N2002: About the A.I....

Should I be able to whip these guy so easily? I'm not that proficient a
gamer, but I'm slaughtering these AI drivers with all the difficulty
settings maxxed. I even went into opponent manager and created a few
"ubermen" with almost 100% in all the settings.

One advantage I may have is that I am not yet running full-length races, so
I can "use up" my racecar without having to worry about going the full
distance, while perhaps the AI guys are pacing themselves for the whole
race. I do remember blowing a few engines in N4 when I switched from short
to full races.

Is it time to get online and face human opponents, or can I get some game
out of these AI boys?

You're beating the AI at every track at 110% with all the settings at
100?

Yeah, go join some leagues.  Get an N2002rank account too, you should
be able to get the track records at every track if th at's true.

Sorry,
I just found the "Opponent Speed" setting at the race setup screen.
Time to go and be humbled....

70% huh?  And you've completely messed upi how the AI was set for the original carset as well.
Might be best to re-install to get their actual driving character back.

Just copy them off of the original game CD.
...and be sure to turn off their Read Only status if they it's on.

Do you have the strength set to default, which is ridiculously low ?
