rec.autos.simulators

So I got nascar cheap with my 3dfx card yesterday..
I have all the latest patches installed,
My stick is a M$ FF pro connected to an AWE64 sound card.
It calibrates in the "test" screen when installing,but in the game
calibration it is erratic to say the least.However in game it is
terrible,like trying to control a 50 ton truck on very slippy ice,I get
no control at all.
Is this a know problem?

I use my FF Pro in N2 with no problems at all. A couple of things to try:

1.Calibrate the joystick from with N2 if you haven't already done that.
2. Make sure that you don't have any device profiles running or disable the
MS game profiler before running N2.

Hope this helps, I have the same combination (AWE64 & FF Pro) and it works
great.
