I don't consider myself a nerd but could stand to be corrected.

I do my own thing running a fledgling marketing/PR business supporting race
teams that run in the NASCAR Busch North Series. Currently I represent five
full-time teams and a part-timer, as well as doing one-shot press releases
and autograph card layout for other teams. I've been doing it half-assed for
a couple years before digging in and deciding to make it my 'day job' after
the company I was working for also considered me redundant.

The fantastic home-based business, "Claff Promotions"
(http://www.claff.net), served as primary sponsor for my NASCAR 4 online
racing exploits last year and that advertising resulted in a fantastic
addition of zero new clients. But hope springs eternal and it will be back
to support my efforts in the 2002 season.

I work in the great outdoors as a laborer and I don't want it any
other way! Working as an instrument man on my father's land surveying
crew right now and am also an apprentice with my local carpenter's
union. The money's not so good, but if I ever had to sit in an office
all ***y day I'd have no choice but to shoot myself. Sitting,
relaxing at home is another story, though. ;)
