Please help with Psygnosis F1

by Steven Becke » Thu, 14 Aug 1997 04:00:00

Psygnosis won't respond to their help line(see below), and I haven't got
a response from ATI either.  Does anyone have any ideas how to get F1 to
run on my system properly?  I have an ati 3dxpression+pc2tv(rage II)
with four meg of ram, 64meg of sdram, an amd k6 200, an mtech r534 mobo,
and a thrustmaster game card, formula t1 wheel.  The game doesn't
recognize any joysticks, and displays colors improperly.

I am trying to get support from Psygnosis, but they won't respond.  Here
is copies of my correspondence.  Do you have any clue why their game
would cause the display adapter to display incorrect colors?  I have the
latest drivers for the 3dxpression+pc2tv, and reinstalled direct x 3,
the game, the drivers, etc twice.  Also, using the latest drivers, can I
run GLQuake?  Is there any special procedure?  When will the ATI update
for Psygnosis F1 be released?  I understand that it is available with
the new video cards.  Will there be a special version that will work
w/my card?  Steve

you described were all pick this is on a diamond steath 3d but using the
3dfx version with my monster everything is just fine havn't found a work

keep playing with it it will finally accept a anlolog joy stick cannot
remember exactly what settins though I have tried several times to contact
psygnosis about green textures behind the front wheels in the rain but all
i ever get back is the standard form even after sending a reply that they
said would get a specific reply their support sucks and i will never buy
anouther game from them no matter what it is

If you ever figure out your joystick problem, please let me know. I sent a
form to Psygnosis about the game not recognizing my joystick either. Of
course they haven't responded either.
