I purchased the original GT Force wheel when Gran Turismo 3
came out. If I downloaded drivers from Logitech's website would
the wheel work on a computer?

Thanks, Dave

Yes - that will work with the Logitech PC software .. it is essentially the
same as the "Force GP" product sold on the PC.

Yes it does work - to make force feedback work, you must install the latest
Wingman profiler from www.wingmanteam.com  and you need to modify the
registry.

See this thread for the registry patch

Note, while you must install the profiler, the profiler still does not
recognize the wheel.  As a result, you cannot map keystrokes to the buttons,
adjust the force feedback level, nor select separate axis for gas and brake.

Good luck, Brian

If this is the original GT3 Force GT (where did you FIND one, anyway?), you
shouldn't need to modify the registry. Reg edits are only required for the
newer Driving Force wheels to enable force feedback.

I repeat, DO NOT modify your registry if you have one of the original GT3
badged Force GT wheels.
