Hey all-
  Is there a way to run CART Racing with a 3dfx card the same way as
N2?  Just got my card in last night, and is there some patch to download
like in N2?  Oh, and should I install a fan, since I've heard about the
3d cards overheating.  Of so, how big of a fan?  It's a Maxi Gamer
Phoenix Voodoo Banshee 16mb card.  It was really cheap ($89), so I
decided it's time, and have been very impressed, especially with GPL
graphics :)   Thanks in advance

    There isn't any patch to convert Cart racing to 3dfx.

  Cart in the ICR2 box came out BEFORE any real 3d cards were
on the market.  As such, it was kinda a miracle it was one of the first
products patched for 3d.(right up there with the original Tomb Raider)
However it was patched in house by Rendition Programmers, not by
Papyrus and as such they took the code, said thanks very much, and
never went any further with it.  It was good training, however, for N2 and
GPL.  don't expect anything 3dfx for a Papyrus Cart product unless they
finally get N3 out the door and restart the CARt sim based on the GPL
engine.

CART from Papyrus? No. If you mean MS CART Precision Racing then the
answer is 'yes'.
