CART: Can't get Full Screen Mode?

Hi,

I purchased CART the other day.  I've tried to get it to run in full
screen mode by pressing F4.  But it won't work.  I'm using the patched
version 1.01.  It will switch to full screen as long as I'm only using
Software Rendering.  But if I want hardware acceleration by using Direct
3D Rendering it will say "Unable to switch to full screen mode"

I've tried installing various drivers for my vid card as well as
re-installing the game countless times with that.  I'm using DirctX5.

My system is an AMD K-5 133mhz, 16MB of Ram, ATI 3D RageII video board,
and 4x CD-Rom.

Your help is greatly appreciated.

My first guess is that you only have 2mb of memory on your video card. CPR
needs 4mb video mem to run hardware acceleration.

Thanx I didn't know that.  I picked up CART Racing by Papyrus anyway for
only $10.  Man this game is pretty cool now that I can run it with all
the graphics.  My system specs are so modest compared to todays
standards.  I just can't keep up with technology...I don't have that
kind of money being in school and all.
