Saw these in PC World in Leicester today - 149.99

Was mildly tempted - but not quite enough to go get one

Reasonable price I thought though.

Well, thats what I paid at PC World in Whitechapel. And so far I have been
beating my PBs in GPL (set with LWFF) consistently. Good wheel, fiddly to
set up the FF but I'm getting there!!!

I have to admit, I like mine. No setup at all on NFS Porsche2K, but I
have been having trouble with Le Mans, 24 hour. it seems to be tricky
to set up that game anyway.

The core.ini settings in the beta readme didn't work good for you?
I know how the core.ini settings differ on each system to get the
perfect ff, but for some lucky reason the beta settings worked like a
charm on my pc, perfect ff and zero spikes!

Yesterday I did an hour offline training on the Ring, and after that I
set the ff from 100% to 70%.. I was tired :)
Maybe it's time to pick up some fitness excersizes again..

I seem to like a particular feel to my FF, more subtle than most. The
trouble I am having is that the only way I can get rid of the spikes is to
leave the overall force in game controllers at 100%. Any less and I get
spikes. And 100% is a little too strong for me. Having said that, I'm
setting PBs with the wheel so it can't be that bad!

Lol keep up the work on the settings you know I'm a lazy sod and will just
pick your brains when you've done. Mind you the setting you already give me
feel pretty good

Bob

You can get them from http://www.dabs.com/ for 119.98

They have to order them in though, I don't know how long it will take but
I'm ordering one tonight :-)

Well, Logitech Europe told me "we don't have any in stock and we can't tell
you when we are getting some more." I'd bet you will be waiting weeks, if
not months if you order. Good luck though as its a great wheel.

Hey that's weird.. 100% was a little too strong for me too (we should
spend less time behind our computers I guess) so I set it to 70%.
No spikes with the beta settings.. maybe 70% is a lucky number, just
like 100% doesn't give spikes? Give it a try and let me know if it
works..
