I checked it out ... it doesn't have the shift.   I guess I'm old
school but I like shifting.  Thanks for the heads up on
rec.autos.simulators.

So you like the Logitech Momo original or the newer one?  I am not so
much worried about the cost but no one wants to spend stupidly either.
So if it's pretty accurate ( my T2 was ***while my brother's was
great ) has a shift and doesn't break, I'm in.

One of these days, someone will produce a good wheel *and* pedals....

Well, the newer Momo Racing wheel has a shifter and the older Momo Force
doesn't.  Check out the Logitech web site for more info.  I like the
older wheel, but it sold for around $200 and I never used the shifter on
my older Thrustmaster Ferrari wheel, so I didn't need one.  At $99.95,
the newer Momo looks pretty darn good.

Also, check out http://www.wingmanteam.com/ which is the developer page
for the various wheel products and other Logitech items.

If shifting is a requirement, you also might want to look at
http://www.act-labs.com/ because they have the best shifter available.
There have been recent complaints abotu customer service, but I always
found the folks there to be pretty helpful.  They make a nice wheel.
