I want to update my old S3 Savage card to better run racing games and run GPL.
Whats a decent card in the $100 range or do i have to spend more for better
frame rates?..NC Heat & IRL Heat runs ok right now, but I never could run GPL
right..

Thanks for any help

GF2 MX 400 Best bang for your buck right now IMHO.  Might want to wait for
the GF3 MX though...

Kirk,

Is the MX400 better than the normal MX but less than the GTS?

Thanks
Ash

Yeah, but not a whole lot better than the 200.  GF2 GTS' are getting pretty
cheap too and have MUCH more memory bandwidth.  The MXs have the same T&L
hardware though which is nice if your CPU is slow.

Its getting hard to keep up :).  There are so many flavours.

My brother got his GTS new for 70 and I got my girlfriend an MX for 40,
they are really coming down.  Now if only they would bring out the G4 so I
can buy a G3 :)

Hmmmmm T&L goodness

I just want to agree, thats all, the GF2 MX 400 is the way to go for any 3D
game these days if you have $100 to spend.
