I didnt like F1 2000, mainly for the AI pileups and crashin me from behind.
But today I got GP3, came home from a ice-hockey tournament ( the table
variant including beer-drinking) and fired the sim/game(?) up. What a
disaster. I admit I just have tried for 90 minutes but I cant get get the
MSFF-wheel to work properly with GP3. And just what is this Joystick A Vert,
Horiz, Fire 1, 2 , 3, 4 etc. Where is the gear changing paddles.
I really thought GP3 could be something. For me its just disapointing at
the moment.
So, apologies to EA and F1 2000, you worked just out of the box, thats the
way it should be.

Back to GPL, those modern F1-sims just destroy the GPL-ability anyway.

Have you ever made a MSFF profile?

Take the paddle buttons, set one to be 'Shift' and one to be 'Space'

Then use the 6 buttons on the front to set a P, O, Right Arrow, Pg Down, Pg
Up and Escape.

You then have gears, pause, Proc Op, and all the views at you disposal.

I have an MSFF and it's works DANDY with GP3 - I'll email you my profile if
you want./

Is that with Force Feedback enabled? I don't get it to work properly and
even have to unplug and plug the wheel to get the centering force.
