I know they were trying to get a worn out look, but they went too far
and it now almost looks like it is a clay track.  Is there a patch to
fix this.

     Sorry to break it to ya Patrick but Papy finally got the color right.
The surface is now 30 years old and indeed worn.  The color, on a bright day
is even MORE faded beige than Papy has it.
    I couldn't be happier to tell you the truth...now if they'll only fix
pit road in N3 (it ain't curved folks!).

    So put the hammer down Patrick, and enjoy the ride...

I don't know, I was there in October and the new color is much closer to
current conditions, IMHO.  your mileage may vary.
