Hi all;
Just wondering if I'd be able to get some comments on driving against
humans on Hawai.
Whenever I race at Tala' I seem to be going to fast (AI 100%) and can
motor right pass them coming out of the corners. (I find it differcult
to draft the AI cars, more so than an other human) Also I've had this
problem racing against a friend of mine, although I'd have to draft
him a bit. Passing must be a *** against humans as I assume they
would be going as fast as you would be. Basicly my question is this,
do you need help from the car behind you to make a pass on Hawaii?

Later,
Nelson

Hi Nelson,

Hawaii uses Nascar1 but I'll answer anyway. You don't need help. In fact,
when your drafting an equal car you have a bit of an advantage. You can lift
a little and still stay with him. Alot of times you'll end up trading places
back and forth. Many times I'd stay behind to bump draft (on the straights)
the guy in front so we could break away from the field or catch the leaders.
I'd then try to pass him in the later stages of the race. I settled for
quite a few 2nd place finishes this way but at least we were out of the
pack. I've run over 200mph running 2nd and bump drafting like this on
Hawaii.

Humans make all the difference in the world for me. It only took a
couple of months for me to get tired of Nascar1 (I sucked pretty bad
too) and put it on the shelf. When Hawaii went public I got on at the
beginning of June and have been hooked ever since. After running Hawaii for
a while I went back and found out I was competitive (open setup) in the
draft at Dega with the AI set at 120% (racing ...not qualifying<G>).
