I have a few questions about hosting a race in n2003.
When I select HOST there are two methods of connection.
TCP/IP : IP number
and
TCP/IP : different IP number.
Which IP do I use?  (I tried both)

I've chose one or the other (IP) and started a race.
No one was entering the race so I  tabbed out and started another copy of
the game. So now I have one version of the game hosting a race and with the
other one I logged in to see if the game was listed.

Which it was. Under the N column. All other servers have a S. MY race has  a
T. I clicked on the race I set up and I got an error message. As follows

Race server is not currently registered with sierra.com but you are. Please
disconnect from sierra.com and then reconnect to the race server.

I did and had the same results.
I can host a n2002 race with no problems...what am I doing wrong?

Thanks for any help!

First off, do you have two network cards in your pc? If you do, then
I assume that one of them connects to your internet provider and the
other goes to another computer on a local network. You need to find
out which IP address belongs to the card connected to the internet.
That's the address you need to select.

If you connect to the internet via a router, then you need to find
the address used by the router. But if you have a second network card
in your pc, then you probably are not using a router. They're kind of
mutually exclusive (in my experience).
