It would be really neat if a server could set a switch
in core.ini to force the replay to only save the
race and skip the warmup and qualify.

You can do that now in the 'client' version.  Doesn't the Server run respect
that setting too ?

You can do this on a server too by enabling the 'clear replay buffer between
sessions' switch in the core or player.ini on either client or host.

this setting...

The server does respect that setting.  I've been using it for a long time.
