GPL and GeForce - how to make it work

by Sinj » Thu, 13 Jan 2000 04:00:00

I'm using original CD patched to 1.1 and the Open/GL beta.
Running a P3-700 w/ 384mb RAM and a Creative Labs GeForce256 DDR card
No matter which resolution I pick under OpenGL the game (and computer)
hard locks when it tries to draw the cars in the pit window.

Has anybody gotten GPL to work with the Annihilator Pro card and if so
what patch, driver and settings did you use.  My OpenGL beta is the
original - is there a newer one.  Does the 1.2 patch offer any better
GL support.

I laso had some problems with my Geforce, but not as bad as yours. I'm
running 1.2. Maybe that is the difference?

Try it, and let me know it it works.
