Nascar Legends double file restart bug at Bristol

by Yasunar » Sun, 19 Dec 1999 04:00:00

After a wreck, when enough cars have been lapped to even the two
lines, the green flag produces a wreck and another yellow most of the
time.  In a single race I can set the options for single file restart,
which at a track like Bristol is not so bad,  but in a championship
season I want double file restarts at places like Alabama and Atlanta.

Question:  Using a hex editor on the season file, can anyone give me
any pointers as to the location of the restarts so that I can change
the race options to double and single file as the track merits?

Better yet, any AI fixes out there for the problem?

Single file restarts takes care of the problem. I sent a memo to Papyrus
about it and there's trying to fix it. Be patient! ;)

Just don't hold your breath considering we never did get a patch for
anything in N99.....
