RS Labs profiler & GPL problem

Can't seem to get this to work.
I notice that the button assignment on the profiler is different inside GPL.
ie. button 5 (top left) is numbered button 7 in GPL. Suspect this is related
to why it don't work.

Anybody had a similar problem?  Any fixes??
Running W98, Viper550/Voodoo2, SBLive sound.
