Grand Prix Manager Questions

To all who own and play GPM:
1. Is the enjoyment derived from playing the sim worth the $40 price?
2. Is it a sim that keeps you coming back, or do you play it for a week
and
forget about it?
3. What do you like most about it?
4. What do you like least about it?
5. Will it integrate with GPII whenever it comes out?  That is, will you
be
able to not only manage your team, but drive the car(s) as well?

Thanks,

Sam Pon

I'm not sure were you are, but in Canada I paid $80.00 for
it.  At this point, no.  See next question as to why.
I played it a few times with no luck.  I can't seem to make
any money, so I've lost interest and stopped playing.  If I
could sustain a decent income, then it would definately keep
my interest.
I'll get back to you on this one
Not being able to make money to build a decent team.
Don't know.  Apparently this was the plan.  Can anybody
clarify?

Well, it depends.  I enjoyed it, but it is buggy, and you have to live
with them to enjoy it (e.g. one of my worst bug is that I have signed up
David Coulthard for the next season, and when the season comes, he
disappeared, for no particular reason at all, presumably left F1)

It is a long long game if you play it till the end (imagine 40 seasons
of 16-17 races each) It is the same each season with minor difference.
It is amazing enough to finish it once, I don't think anyone will come
back to it.  Not me anyway.

The idea of controlling the race and see your team doing well (like
Beating Schumi to 3rd place in the championship, my two drivers are 1st
and second) :>
and the fact that you don't have to exit win95 to play it!

The game is full of bugs!!  On one occasion, during a race in Spa, all
the cars got stuck at the start and finish line. and half of the field
expired!!  On reason for it.

Apparently no.  I think it would be a good idea for other games to stay
away from it.
