I've just read some message traffic and saw that this game is out in the
UK and France.  Has it been released in the US yet?  How much does
it/will it cost, and has anyone tried it yet to give us a review on it?

Mike...

Keeping the validity of the Microprose release date in mind (ala
Grand Prix II), I checked at Egghead yesterday and they have it listed as
15 or 18 December.  My memory is unclear as to which date it was.
Keep your fingers crossed that it will arrive prior to christmas.  ;-)

Later...

Well, Grand Prix Manager has certainly been out for sale in the U.K. since
Friday of last week.  I haven't bought it, so I can't comment on how good
or bad it is.

I suppose it's only fair that we get it first this time.  Did you know that
ICR II *still* hasn't appeared in the U.K. :-(  Well thank you very much
*** Interactive/Papyrus.  I was really keen to buy it when I first saw
the demo, but it's taken so long to appear over here that I've changed my
mind.  It's one thing knowing that a game hasn't appeared because it's not
finished (GP II), but it's another thing knowing that half the World has
had it for a month, but you can't buy it yet.

Yep, I bought my copy yesterday from *** Megastore in Manchester
for 34.99 UKP, and very good it is too! I'm not going to review it
but if you have any questions please ask.

Cheers,

Ant.

I have PHYSICALLY seen it in a shop (I held the box) - and it was about 40 UKP.
(money which I don't have).
So this is a real realease of a game which does exist.

Hi Mike,

GRAND PRIX MANAGER should start showing up in stores by the end
of the week. It will be released in the US under our Spectrum

Best,
