In the "Four Wheel Drift" section where each car is described, how come
there isn't a section on the Ferrari?
The license was obviously attained.

Possibly not before the book/game guide had to go to press, so it wasn't
included at the release.
Steve has commented about this issue in his advanced setup guide at

I must've answered this Q a million times. A lot of Ferrari material was in
the original ms. I submitted to Papyrus, but each and every reference to the
marque was excised because Papy didn't have the time or the inclination (or
both) to have Ferrari vet the ms., which Ferrari had the contractual right
to do. So Papy simply cut out each and every mention of the Prancing
Horse...without telling me. I'm surprised the book reads as well as it
does, considering no further editing was involved. All this is explained on
Alison Hine's Eagle Woman site (
http://people.ne.mediaone.net/alisonnic/gpl/index.htm ), although I wouldn't
follow the 3-year-old setup advice if I were you...a lot has changed since
then!

maybe, but the author says 7 cars are modeled in gpl. 5 real and 2
fantasy. then he only describes 4 real ones, and ferrari is mentioned in
the rundown of makes.
