V5 5500 AGP & MS RalliSport Challenge Trial Version compatible?

by Rich » Mon, 03 Mar 2003 01:15:36

I'm using the newest 3rd party drivers (1.09 beta 10), 8.1b DirectX, low
resolution (800 x600), default refresh rate and Win98SE.
Screen goes black right after it finishes loading track, and then entire
system freezes. I have followed all MS' suggestions but to no avail can I
get the game to work with this card. Game requirements specify T&L engine
which the Voodoo has not, but surely there must be some adjustment.
Anyone?

nope. RSC requires a TnL unit and there's no way around that one - not even
with Geometry Assist.

this is an utility which can emulate some features (like the T&L , very
useful with some games)
the last version is the 2.11

ps : about MS Rally Sport Challenge, this game is really demanding with the
drivers and many attempts will be necessary without really being sure...
