From what I've heard (from users) certain D3D games have trouble
recognizing the SLI configuration of the Voodoo5, and will run better
using only one chip. This will be addressed in either patches for the
game or new drivers.

Added: NOTE: I don't know that the problem is with the drivers or not at
this point.

That messages comes from a thread where I was struggling to get some answers
from 3dfx about the Voodoo 5.  I bought the card on the belief that games
wouldn't need to recognize any strange SLI setup.  I had hoped the SLI
feature was performed in hardware and was automatic.
Still, they might at least look into it now.  Whether this can be fixed by
new drivers....i hope so
