This has probally been covered before but if so I missed it. After I
installed the N2 patch from Sierra, I can't add positive cross weight when
I'm setting up my car. Can someone please tell me how to correct this.

Have you tried version 1.03 of the patch?

I had the same problem, but with the second patch it seems to be fixed.

I had this problem. In the end, the best way to solve it was to reinstall
nascar2 in a different directory, repatch it, and then replace your
layout.dat file with the newly installed and patched one. I tried several
other methods that took less time, but this was the one that worked.

I had the problem with the first patch, but the second patch cleared it up.
I hadn't modified the layout.dat, NO rendition, and full install.
