Didn't Nascar and ICR also do that?  It is a nice touch...

Since you guys are also into flight sims, can you recommend a good one for
WWII?  E-mail if you can, no sense adding *more* OT stuff...<g>
Thanks.

Without a doubt, EAW. I believe it has the least overhead and will do
Glide in 800x600 if you have a voodoo2 card. It also has dozens of
aircraft in the air during your furballs.

Janes WWII is popular too but I believe it is more resource intensive
than EAW.

I could swear rthat I've seen some people in the stands during qualifying.

Buttery smooth on my P2-450 w/128MB ram and 12MB Voodoo2
card. The furballs in EAW are legendary. Much more aircraft in
the air at one time with a far greater framerate then the other
WW2 sims.

A little bit more CPU. But I believe a P2-450 was still quite acceptable.
However I do not believe the furballs in Janes WW2 had as many
aircraft as EAW. I have done 2 campaigns in EAW and have never
tried Janes or MS combat sim. I accidentally selected what is generally
considered the best (EAW).

Pretty much, especially on slower processors. Again this sim
has nowhere near the number of aircraft in the sky during fur
balls and I believe the campaign is pretty poor.

Did you also notice the graffiti on the track at Imola? Just
like the real thing. The game continues to impress me more and
more as I play it. Indeed the best modern F1 game yet.
