My Modem Won't Work On Nascar

Someone help please, I just got a Maxtech 14.4 internal Fax Modem and for
some reason it will not initialize in Nascar when I try to call someone
or when answering. It work's fine on my communications program but not
Nascar. Can someone give me some answers?

     Try using any of the other modem types that come preset keep
changing them then test them by hittin ANSWER.  If you get an "OK" then
you should be ready to go.  If not try a different modem type (US
Robotic, Boca, Gateway, etc...  
    Make sure your COM and IRQ's are correct
