Nascar2 and Rendition...WOW

I have been reading all the flames Papyrus has been taking and some of them
are deserved. (like save game) But I haven't had half of the crashes you
guys are talking about. I am running a P166 overclocked to 187.5mhz on a
Shuttle 557 motherboard.
16 megs of ram with a SB16 and a Creative Labs 3D Blaster. This game is
beautiful
and definitely the best sim out there. You guys make mistakes at your
workplace I'm sure, but most of us don't have to endure the hundreds of
flames that Papy does. I
AGREE that some of this stuff is deserved but let's concentrate on letting
them know what we do like in the game and what we would like to see in a
patch. ***ing over and over is not gonna get us a better game. Look at
Microprose and GP2, they've basically said "Screw Y'all!" No patches, no
responses, nothing! I love this game and
everyone who sees it says "WOW, this is so real!" Yeah some things are off
a little
but we have got a great game here that will only get better! We all know
that Papy listens to our wants/needs so just be patient and let them do
their job. I'm sure Sierra
told them to get the game out by Christmas and shit happens under
deadlines. Remeber who is picking up the tab for Papyrus.

My suggestions : I would love to see save game, sun glare, chat in
multiplayer, and a fix for the dma/cyrix problem (Yes Cyrix cpus DO support
DMA), Anti aliasing for
Rendition cards and support for the 3DXF guys.

What I love: I love the realistic mirrors, THE SPOTTER, new tracks, lap
times in addition to speed, random breakdowns, GRAPHICS especially
Rendition, multiplayer, and they signed most drivers (especially #3). Best
of all, I enjoy all thi entertainment for a price of $40.00. I got more
than my moneys worth!
Cya, no flames please just my opinions.
